Why are you doing the rny instead of the DS? The DS has a sleeved stomach.

Did you ever met your goal?  Why did you gain the 50lbs back?  I have to agree with others why not get the DS since you have 1/2 of procedure done already.

Losing the 50lbs and keeping it off is going to ultimately be up to you.  The surgery only does so much.

Good Luck today.  I hope your revision is uneventful.

I hope you realize that you most defiantly will lose more than the 50lbs having the RNY.  You are going from a non-malabsorption surgery to a malabsorption surgery that lasts for a year to 2 in some people.

Good luck today. I hope the surgery is uneventful and you heal fast. If you follow the program I would feel pretty confident you can lose that 50 lbs. As others have said down the road the malabsorptive  procedures start to work a little less well but if you work the tool you will do fine.

Surprised a surgeon would do the surgery when all you need to lose is 50 pounds?? Good luck

yes because I already had the sleeve and lost a lot  I gained 50lbs plus my high blood pressure came back and have bad arthritis in my knees so I was approved with my insurance which it is with my employment well I lost 20lbs since my surgery on the 4th of December
