band to bypass

Anyone who was able to get insurance to pay for band to bypass with a bmi of under 35? My band has not slipped,  but I have tons if complications.   

I had revision band to bypass on 10/19. My doctors office used my first and highest recorded weight to submit to insurance, place they took my gall bladder and that helped but I had no problem getting insurance approval. Im sure it depends on your insurance company though. I only had a 3 month waiting period and even then I was approved early. Good Luck
