I'm Back....but LapBand to GB (in process of approval)

Hi Everyone:

Back from a long break on this website.....and well, gave it all I got with the LapBand ,but it just ended up not working for me. I am in the process of getting a decision from my insurance for a revision for GB. Cannot get the sleeve per my surgeon due to the amount of acid reflux I had with the band.

I think we all gave it our best shot. I did for 12 years! Wish I would have had the revision sooner. OH well that nasty reflux will be gone soon! Nothing better than a good nights sleep. Good luck with it :)

I had my revision surgery 8 weeks ago, from band to bypass. I feel so much better already. No acid reflux and have even been able to stop taking the purple pill. So much better.

Hopefully it all works out with your insurance.
