revision of jejunojejunostomy

Had original gastric bypass surgery in 2003. Great success and kept off weight 7 years. Different meds and life happened and I gained back about 50 lbs. Tried dr. script protein drinks -- diets -- saw dietician for more than a year. Getting ready to have this surgery. Has anyone else had it?

Yes, Surgeon took to much. Stayed dehydrated, malnurshised, kidney failure. Had to be reversed. Make sure you a good surgeon and support staff. Ask a lot of questions. I am hung know. Noone would ever touch me know after what to me. I think I felt way better before the surgery. After the 2nd part of the revision I was so run down. Went back in the hospital after (3) days home Spent (7) there again. They had me on the meds as a dying cancer patient trying to build my system up again.

How did this work for out for you? I think I had this same procedure performed recently.
