frustrated

Very upset.  I know it is my own fault though.  I had ent in 2007.  I saw my Doctor once after.  About a year ago I started having a lot of problems with pain in my stomach, chest pains, felt like someone was squeezing me.  I had been to the ER twice because of it getting so bad.  They would just tell me it was from low iron and give me a script for iron and send me home.  I finally said I am going back to the run doctor.  There has got to be Something else and maybe it is from the rny.  I was seeing his nurse though.  I got to her and even she said she thought it was low iron.  She wanted to get a cat scan done just to make sure it was nothing.  For some reason she went to ask the Doctor to OK the cat scan. He decided to come in and Talk to me.  He said hmmm, you look very sick to me.  He told me to go immediately and have a stat CT and blood work.  He told me He thought it was a hernia and bowel obstruction.  He said he was doing surgery the next day.  He told me He would also do the revision during surgery.  He called me late that night and said surgery was scheduled for first thing in morning but no revision.  My iron level was -4.  I was extremely upset.  I was set up for a week of infusions.  I had 3 allergic reactions and they refuse to do any more because of reactions.  Now I am at point of what to do next.  I am very frustrated.  They won't even think about revision now unroll iron is figured out.

So sorry to hear this has happened. It sounds like your doctor is taking care of first things first and did the right thing as soon as he could. Stay focused on getting well.
