Last-minute question for band to VSG

greetings,

1. Any of you outpatient?

2. Did you have your surgery open if so how big is the incision/was recovery more difficult than laparoscopic?

3. What is the difference between a full sensation between bad to VSG. 

4. if you drink does it push thew like band? 

5. Did any of you ceased to lose the weight you desired .. 

I stayed the night in the clinic because I had a tube down my nose into my stomach to keep it dry the first night. Mine was done laparoscopiclly. There is no where for food or water to go since the stomach is cut away so no pushing through. With the band it gets pushed into the bottom part of the stomach which you no longer have.  I am highly disappointed in the weight I have lost, I would go a different route knowing what I know now.
