Seeking revision of VSG -- What to expect at the surgeon's
Over the past 4 years I've put on about 65 lbs. Mostly due to taking a medication *known* to cause weight gain (thank you for telling me that, doc!). Am now off it but weight stays on and I know my sleeve has stretched. For the first 2 years I could not eat any real quantity, but the ability to eat more has crept back.
What were your experiences w/r/t revising? Many thanks!
The only way to know that your sleeve has stretched is with an endoscopy. Have you had one done to check things out?

Sleeves stretch. Every single one of them. This is one of the reasons surgeons are making Sleeves smaller and smaller.
I read your post on the DS board, and it sounds to me like you're golden as far as getting approval goes. And just my opinion---while no doubt the medications bear some responsibility, I suspect you would have needed the rest of the DS eventually anyway. Some of us are just plain born with more efficient metabolisms, able to store most of what we eat.
I'm 11 years post-op, and I can EAT. Fortunately, my DS has 'crippled' my formerly highly-efficient metabolism to the point where I can eat like a normal person without gaining weight. (*grin*)
