GOT FUNDS YEA
That's great! I'm sure your doctor will schedule with the Nutritionist and Exercise Person, etc..... the RNY is considered the Gold Standard of weight loss surgeries. You should do fine. What was your other surgery before? You said this is for a 2nd Revision. Is this going to be your 3rd weight loss surgery? Best wishes to you!
Seriously, with all due respect, you have had 2 WLS. What makes you think it will be different with number 3?
I don't know your cir****tances and I apologize if this doesn't apply to you. I know there are reasons for revisions that don't include weight loss, as that is why I had mine but if it is due to weight loss what will be different this time?
All the revisions in the world won't help if you don't change your eating. It's just like changing deck chairs on the Titanic.
And if you have had 2 RNYs maybe it's time to look at a different surgery. But take care of any eating issues first before you subject your body to more surgery.
WLS 10/28/2002 Revision 7/23/2010

And seriously, $35,000.00 for a revision? If I had that much money I would high tail it to California and see Dr. Ara Keshishian.
From what I understand he is the best at RNY to DS revisions. It is your best shot. But deal with the eating issues, too :)
