Approved Sleeve to RNY

No preop program.  I don't think they make any distinction on eating between VSG and RNY at least not at the clinic I go to.  Also no additional psych eval either.  At the last moment the surgeon was saying I needed a nutritional visit but talked him out of it. Also didn't have to do the 2 week liquid diet, just the day before.  Did have to follow the liquids, puree, soft and than regular food diet right after surgery.

Of course all of this depends on your insurance and what they require.  I have different insurance now than I did for the sleeve but there really wasn't an issue, it was approved pretty quickly.

Thank you.  I never went thru a pre-op program with original surgery since it was out of the country.  Maybe that's why surgeon wants me to go thru it.
