If you are lap band revision or having a virgin DS with Dr. Alverdy or Dr. Prachand there shouldn't be any problems. Dr. Alverdy did my original RNY, but will not do a revision to DS (or RNY for that matter). They (UIC) are very selective about the revisions they do.
