Surgery date 5/6/14

I will have my lap band remove tomorrow and revision to Sleeve.  I am a little scare of the recovery because,  I am a baby when it comes to pain.  Before my Lap band 12/09, I was at 250 lbs.   my lowest with the band was 176 lbs.  I'm at 223 llbs.  Wish me luck tomorrow 

Best of luck to you and if you hurt let them know. They can give you a different med or a stronger one. Also if you are nauseated let them know because they can give you something to stop that too.

I know you have had your surgery at this point.  I hope it was successful and that you are resting comfortably! 

Hoping all goes well with you. I am loving my revision - and recovery isn't bad at all if there are no complications.

Thank you ladies.  The recovery is going good.  can't complain of too much pain so, that's a plus.  The surgeon removed my gallbladder because he said it was inflamed and it had a bunch of stones.  That was a shock to me because, I never, ever had issues with my gallbladder.  I'm glad it was removed tho, since, it would have giving issues later.

I voluntarily asked to have my gallbladder removed during my surgery so I wouldn't have to do it later - it seems to be common with this surgery. This is where I had my post surgery complication, but still glad I had it done all in 1 surgery. Now you won't have to worry about it.

Going thru three WLS and still have my GB.  My doctor was surprised I still had it with the major weight lose and gains I went thru.
