band to sleeve with a BMI of 23

I go my band in January 2013. I have not had complications and has been bery successful with it. My current BMI is 23. I got a tummy tuck in December of 2013. I found out that my band slipped in February  2014. I was told by the Baratric clinic that there is nothing they can do but take it out because my BMI is to low. I am so, so  heart borken. I was wondering if anyone has been able to get sugery to either fix the band or reverstion it with Low BMI.  I am grasping for any hope. I don't want to regain the weight. I have worked so hard.

You could probably find a surgeon in Mexico to give you a sleeve.  I would imagine it would be very hard to get insurance to pay but there may be a way.  At least they could pay to have the band removed.  I have heard of people having revisions with normal BMIs so I know it is possible.
