RNY to DS has anyone had this

I had RNY surgery 4 years ago and was 540 the day of. I got down to 325lbs in about 15 months but am now packing on the weight. I'm back up to 389lbs. I'm going to pay out of pocket so will probably have to to mexico to have the procedure done.  I hear that this a very hard procedure to do so only a few surgeons will even attempt to do so. Has anyone had this procedure done. Any tips and references will be much appreciated. Feeling desperate  thanks 

It is a very hard surgery and one I would not go to Mexico for.  There are only a few surgeons that do it.  Post on the DS boards too.

Finding a surgeon willing to do this particular revision, is not the same as finding a surgeon you want to do this revision. You don't want to go to MX for this one.

I am a reviision from RNY to DS, there are a handful that will do this type of revision. Dont get discouraged. Go the the DS board they can help more. :)
