which is safer gastric plication or resleeved
My Dr said the plication surgery is the safer way and gives you your restriction back if your stomach has stretched out. I'm having it done on the 30th, so hopefully I'll be able to answer this question better. A lot of people on this board will suggest you get a DS. This is where the reroute your intestines and you have to deal with all the malabsorbtion issues. Personally I'm not into that. Plus it is a very expensive and only a handful of Dr's in the US can do it.

Noticed you are in Oregon. If you're looking for a surgeon that does this, Dr. Emma Patterson at Legacy in Portland does all the surgeries and is probably the most skilled surgeon in Oregon....although her office reminds me of a puppy mill....
Northwest Weight Loss in Everett, WA also....although you may be closer to SF than Everett.
