Another question - DS revision

So, now that I know insurance has approved I feel like I need to kick it into high gear.  My DS surgeon will be Dr. K in Glendale, CA, but I will be traveling there from NC.

Do anyone have any suggestions or know of someone who could be my support person while in CA? (I'm willing to pay.)  My husband is not going to be able to travel with me and my teenagers have school.  I could ask someone from my church but then I would need to pay all their travel expenses (which would probably end up costing more than hiring someone who already lives in CA.)

Any help or advice would be highly appreciated!!

What did you end up doing for this? I am going to travel 4 hours away and may not be able to have my husband with me.
