APPROVED!!!

I am beyond excited! Just got off the phone with the insurance company and the doctor's office! I am approved for band removal and gastric bypass!

Congratulations!! I am jumping through the required insurance hoops for approval. I will be finished in February. I'm so excited for you. I just heaved a small piece of white turkey meat that I chewed righ down to nothing. There is no rhyme or reason with the tossing. I can't wait to get rid of the horrible band. Keep posting. I'd love to follow your journey. BEST!

The insurance steps seemed to take forever for me. I had to have several appointments with nutritionist, physc, EKG, Upper GI, weight management, etc. I am glad I did it though, my insurance approved the surgery within a week of getting the paperwork from my doctor.

Thank you all! I am very excited. Starting my liquid diet nest week. I have already cut out all caffeine and alcohol :)

Fantastic news!  I hope your surgery goes smoothly and that you are happy with the outcome!  My upgrade from Band to Bypass has been the best thing I've ever done for myself.
