Bcbs federal Denied my revision

Try posting this on the Insurance Forum and members there may have some suggestions for you  

I have BCBS Federal and had NO problem ..the only catch was I had to do all my pre-op evaluations again..Psych test,cardiac,a referral from my Primary care MD. There is NO exclusion for revisions..!

When did you have your revision?  The reason why I asked is because I was disapproved back in February for the RNY.  Today I called BCBS Federal and the rep told me because my lap band surgery was back in 2008 which is more than 2 years ago, I should be approved, hopefully.  I had the Sleeve in 2009 self pay.   I am going to a seminar tomorrow.

I'm confused it shows you had VSG in 2009, you said you had the band in 2008 and are now trying to revise.  (Just being noisy)

I had the lap band in 08 and then the Sleeve in 09. Yes I want to revise now to the RNY.

I had my RNY in 02/03, got pregnant had my son 11/04 and am now seeking a Revision. I also have FBCBS and I'm a little nervous about getting the approval. How did you go about getting the approval?
