Revision surgery with Dr Garcia, Tijuanan

Is anyone having gastric bypass with Dr Garcia on Nov 5th 2013 in Tijuana? I am coming from Toronto to San Diego on Nov 4th and wondering is anyone else coming on the same day.I am having my gastric band removed and converted to RNY.

I've seen several people talking about going to Mexico for Gastric Bypass. I assume its becuase of cost. What is the difference in price typically?

the price is $8150 for BMI of 55.That is the total package with all tests hotel etc etc included.In Europe it runs about $14000.I believe in Canada it would cost about $35000.

I am very confident this route is safe and the surgeons are just as good as any.I had my band in Belgium as I lived abroad at the time.We in North America tend to be a bit arrogant in thinking our health care providers are the smartest in the world...which is just ignorant really.
