Settled into hotel. All pre op is done and I am the first surgery scheduled for tomorrow. Excited but very nervous.

HW - (260) SW - (197) GW - (135), updated on 1-2-14 to 125lbs HT 5'5" Goal reached 3/2/14-revised goal to 120 on 3/9/14 reached 4/6/14

Wishing you the best of luck in your surgery and sending you a big thanks for posting about your revision and your reasons for wanting to switch.

I am in the SAME BOAT. I have had so many problems with this LapBand and Acid Reflux that it's been deflated completely and totally useless (not to mention, ever annoying and painful) since '09, only three months after it was placed. I am having my initial visit with a reputable bariatric surgeon in my area tomorrow to see if a revision to RNY is right for me. Thanks for giving me the courage to look into it as a valid option and some hope!
