I am a BOB. I had it done in NYC with Dr. Marina Kurian at NYU Langone Medical Center. She did Al Roker's RNY 10 years ago. I have known her for about 12 yrs as she was at Lenox Hill when I did my RNY in 2002. She is the best and has many BOB patients. She spends a good bit of time with us as she knows we are unique with both procedures.
I am soooooooo sorry I am just replying to this now. I have had a hellish work week. I know you had surgery yesterday and i would assume you are home and out and about. I had surgery at 11am on a Thursday, and left the next am at like 9am. I walked home, I went to the movies and out for dinner that night. I also went to work the next day. It was a breeze. I hope you've had a similar situation and experience.
