I will do more work with my therapist on my emotional eating issues.  No matter which WLS I have, I won't keep the weight off until I take  the importance of truly changing my ways seriously.  You can't change maintain WL if you still turn to food for every stressor or emotion.  Period.

I would have done a bit more research on blood sugar issues.  I had a little bit of hypoglycemia before I had surgery, and had no idea that the lack of a pyloric valve and intrinsic factor would make it so much worse.  I knew about 'dumping,' but somehow didn't equate it all into the same ballgame.  Live and learn, as they say!
