Looking for insight

Looking for some insight.

I had the Lap Band back in 07 and in 2010 I started having abdominal pain, no answers. May 14, 2012, I ended up in ER with surgery that evening. The CT showed my small intestine flipped over the tube to my port and caused an obstruction. Due to all the abdominal pain I had been having a chose to have the band removed.  On May 17, 2012, the surgeon went back in as I was still having abdominal pain. He ended up milking all of my bowel and removed adhesions. My Lap Band surgeon was in Phoenix and I was in Yuma. The General surgeon here had never removed a band before and he was awesome, we spoke briefly about a revision but what I was looking for was not being performed here. I am looking to have the Gastric Vertical Sleeve. I would like to know of a well known surgeon in Phoenix that has performed many GVS.

I appreciate any and all suggestions and/or advice.

Have you been over to the Verticle Sleeve Gastrectomy board?  I bet there is a wealth of information and help there, as wel as posting this on the main board.  Hopefully, someone will be along here to post as well.
