Have any of you gone from the Lap Band to a sleeve?

This could indicate a "dynamic" slip as well...the stomach is herniating up through the band and then sliding back down again intermittently.

Banded 03/22/06 276/261/184 (highest/surgery/lowest)

Lap Band on 02/02/06

I was banded 2/6/06...did well for a while, had revision to sleeve in July 2011 because I did want a full gastric...well after a while I started having a lot of acid reflux, come to find our the band left scar tissue on the upper esophagus, Reflux was pretty bad. I ended up having another revision in July 2012! I am now the poster child of weight loss surgery, but no problems holding steady at 155...still working on my goal, of 150!

What revision did you have in '12? Was it the DS?

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

I am curious what your second revision was to??

Began journey in 2007 at 312, had Lap band 2008, lost 40 pre-op then 24 post op, regained to 319. Lost 39# on my own, then revised to VSG 4/29/13 @ 280.

I am sorry didn't make myself clear, I went from band to sleeve to gastric bypass...doing well...should have done this from the start.
