Dr. Greenbaum, NJ
Hi everyone. I had vsg with Dr. G at Abington Memorial Hosp in PA in MAy 2011....lost about 80 pounds, gained a few back. Exercising, eating right and struggling daily. In my heart I believe I need more then just a smaller stomach. I am so very scared of the climbing number. My BMI is currently 32.3.
I have an appt with my surgeon next week to see if I can revise to DS or what I can do. My second option would be Dr. Greenbaum in New Jersey....he has a wonderful self pay rate and reputation. I called his office today and they said he would not do a vsg to ds wth a bmi of 32 that it would need to be 40!!!!!!! So, lets all wait until I am at my heaviest again. Are their surgeons who do revisions on lower bmi's....I'm already struggling more then words can express. Why must I wait until I'm that obese again to gain control. I just want to cry.
Any thoughts??? TY!
Have you been over to the lightweights board???
You should also go over to the DS board. SouthernLady and MajorMom (She does the bites, vites & exercites daily threads) are lightweights, and can help you out!!!!
