don't say you were depressed, and that why you were over over eating. Appeal to  your insurance and say. you were constantly hungry.. And the lap band didn't control your appetite  Also submit proof that you have hypo thyroid. which causes you to gain weight.. Submit all your medical records for proof. if you go to your dr. for help now for the next 6 month and you dont loose any weight, then you can get approved for a revision.. Good luck. I feel and understand your pain.

When you have thyroid problems the lap band & RNYY surgery will fail for in adequate weight loss . You may need the DS . because thyroid cause your metabolism to be extra slow in burning fat.

Your story sounds a lot like mine!!  I have never been in a comfortable zone and I either can eat way too much or everything comes back up!!  I hope once I make my choice, I don't face the same issues!?!?!?!?  That stinks!  Sorry!  cool

Began journey in 2007 at 312, had Lap band 2008, lost 40 pre-op then 24 post op, regained to 319.  Lost 39# on my own, then revised to VSG 4/29/13 @ 280.
