New to board

I have Dr. Buchwald, who does do revisions to DS.  I asked him if I could get a DS, but he recommended a different surgery for me, one which leaves my RNY pouch the same, but reroutes the intestines to look more like a DS.  I think he considered me a lightweight (250), 5'6.  

So even if you have a surgeon that does revisions to the DS, that dr. might not necessarily recommend one for YOU.
