I  had my rny back in 2001 weighed 400 pds....got down to 216 then life happened relocated got married and had 2 kids back to back...sadly i wasn't so great a****ching my eating and the weight slowly crept back on i now weigh 271 pds. I'm currently a work in progress working on eating habit keeping a food diary excercising. I'm currently attempting to  obtain a revision. My doctor states he could fix the opening of my pouch make it like i had just had the surgery. I just received a letter from the bariaric clinic requesting proof of my bmi being between 35-40 for at least 2 yrs... the second proof i tried a diet program and the last one. this is what confuses me they are asking me to submit a multidisciplinary surgical prepartory regimen...what the HELL is that ????? is that a  diet i must do for 3 months prior to the revision surgery i seek? im totally confused about that one. fyi My insurance is aetna ppo .... fyi im attempting to get this done at the ysplanti, michigan location

The multidisciplinary regimen is dietician and psych consult.  They are making you jump through the original hoops to make sure you are going to follow the correct eating plan AND are mentally prepared.

That being said - revisions are often a disaster from an insurance standpoint.  Best of luck to you~~~

I just had my revision approved. I had to jump through a million hoops too. I had to do several things I had to do the first time also. I was luckly to be approved on the first attempt.
