You've been misinformed, I'm sure by a surgeon that doesn't know enough about, or how to do the DS. 

You need to read some actual studies and not rely on second hand nonsense from a surgeon that has a vested interest in what you do or don't choose, or even from posts here. If you were actually inclined to get some info, PubMed would be a great place to start.

No one cares what surgery you decide to get, but don't spread misinformation..
