If you are considering a DS, with or without the issue of revision, I strongly advise checking out the dsfacts website. If you are revising, especially from RnY, it becomes even more important to be knowledgeable so that you can competently advocate yourself.

He has a very good reputation in NC and had done a tone of laproscopic surgeries - but I am not sure about the DS revision.
Please let me know how it goes. Weighed 415lbs before having an open RNY WLS on 4/27/01. Went down to 252lbs. Had gall bladder removed 2/1/02. C-section w/baby girl 8/2004, weighed 313lbs went down to 265lbs. Hernia surgery 10/23/06. 2nd c-section and bowel obstruction in 8/2008. Then 2nd hernia surgery in 2010. I'm now weighing 286lbs and hate it. PCP wants me down to 140lbs. Thinking about ds revision to lose the final 100lbs or plastic surgery (lots of flab on arms and inner thighs, which is causing severe pains in heels and ankles.)
