Any of you had an RNY revision to DS and go into it with a small (tangerine size pouch). I am 4 years out from RNY and gained all my weight back. So because my pouch is still small 3 doctors have told me NO revision from RNY to RNY .  I am getting back to basics and starting a Zumba work out (had to go buy the PS3 system with Move to get to do the $29 game). But, planning ahead I am wondering if anyone has had a revision like this ( RNY to DS) with thier pouch still small and no complications. I know I will need to travel to maybe california to do it.

Have you read this?

A tangerine sounds kinda large for an RNY pouch to me---how big is your stoma?

I don't know the size of my stoma I was never told. I  only know about the pouch because I looked over while they were taking the pictures and tried to remember the size. I have had 3 surgeons deny to do the revision to another RNY because my pouch is "still small". To just go on a diet. These include my original surgen who is very capable and a kind hearted man. I have begun again to diet (can't seem to lose the added weight but going to keep trying). I thought maybe I should check out whether I could get a DS. I have read the article you sent the link to and I believe it, it is just finding a doctor who will help me I guess is the problem. Thing is I was going to travel for the original doctor when it occurred to me that traveling for him why not travel for the DS. I just don't know if it is likely the Dr K in california will help me if I have no complications. I guess I should post that question on the DS board.
