Tricare standard question...

 How long does it take to get an approval.....in the first stages of a revision.

 Hi there,
I am alos in the process of getting approved for a revision. Tricare is my secondar insurance and they said if my primary approves they will atomaticaly cover. So it looks like they may be easy to work with.

I am thinking of having a revision from the band and was told that Tricare now has a one weight loss surgery per lifetime clause. Not sure if that can be appealed or not......I am thinking that they would have to grandfather me in, since at the time of my surgery that clause wasn't in there lol.....

I haven't had any issues with my band but I have cancer and just want all artificial things out of me.....well I did gain 30 pounds back but that was what I put in my mouth and restriction isn't all that great.

I also have tricare and went to the surgeon yesterday. They said Tricare has 30 days to submit an answer. So now i wait. i had vbg in 99
