Band Revision update
Well, I went to see my PA today for another unfill. I did well with my band up until December of last year when I had to have the port replaced. I had been trying since then to get back to my pre-surgery fill volume of 10.4 in a 14ml band. I made it back to the 10.4 but I had problems with being over filled. I haven't felt right since the new port and the new fill. My PA brought up a fairly good point today, I may not ever have been at 10.4 even pre-new port, with my fills we could have just been replacing what was leaking out of the port. In any event, I hope that we can get back into the "green zone". She told me that if I am still having symptoms of being over filled she would order an upper GI. Part of me hopes something is wrong so I can go back and get the sleeve, this band doesn't seem to do what it was advertised to do....
If you do end up getting the sleeve, go see Henry Buchwald in MN!!!!
