Well each day that passes, more and more I can't believe this is coming. I am sure I will do ok, since I have been through weight loss surgery. I have to continally tell myself it's a TOOL not a miracle. I will continue counseling, and depression medication, and take 1 day at a time, knowing and dealing with behavorial issues that caused the weight gain. Yes i had medical problems, but never dealing with the underlying issues - DID NOT help.

I currently taking vitiams every day, extra vitiam D, iron, and for my hair, I started replacing 1 meal per day 3 months ago and now up to 2 meals a day. Slowing saying NO- to foods that are not healthy for me. Do I "cheat", no but learning what my limits in and trying to adjust to my new life style.

I refuse to fail I refuse- to be thinking - I will fail again.

Taking 1 day at a time, building a support system, going to classes.

I can't wait, I have been waiting 2 years for this. I can't wait until I am no longer in pain, or have to take 6 pills a day for my acid refux, and dealing with pain in my stomach.

This is my new life and I will embrace it with everything that is within me.. and I know GOD will help me and my friends and family.

I am DOING this for ME! and noone else.

Just curious why you are having a RNY and not a DS since you already have a sleeve?  is it because of insurance?

Yep, my insurance does not cover a DS- only RNY... So that's the only choice, if not DS would be my option.

I encourage you to work towards self paying for the second part of the ds instead of settling for a surgery you don't choose. You can look into Mexico. Ungson.
