Lapband to Sleeve Revision

I was with one practice that had two surgeons.  One would do my revision from eroded band to vertical sleeve after six weeks.  The other would do it after three months.

I am now with a different practice due to some issues with the old one.  My new surgeon won't touch me for six months and only after I have had a complete battery of tests (upper GI, upper endoscopy and esophogeal  manometry)

I hate waiting like anything.  I have packed on the pounds since my band was removed.  But I appreciate  my surgeon being conserative and wanting to wait for everything to heal then going in and looking at the scar tissue and making sure my esophagus is functioning properly before performing a high pressure procedure on me.  I want to lose the weight again but I don't want to be miserable the rest of my life either.
