If you were revised Band to RNY - did the surgeon remove the band and then do the RNY at the same time?

I would hate to be opened up twice!!

Lap Band on 02/02/06

I had the lap band to gastric sleeve revision and yes they do it at the same time. Now I will be going to gastric bypass. Had success with sleeve only I have a lot of acid reflux and bypass is the only other option.

Yes. . .he took out the band and did the bypass right then.
