I'm sorry that you experienced issues with your esophagus, I did too. I'm just curious if you fully understand the extent of damage that your band has done to your esophagus, and if so, can you share your experience with us please ?

no i'm not sure how bad but he said he wasn't comfortable doing another surgery until it completely heals so it could take up to 6 months to a yr..

Make sure he performs an endoscopy before and after the band has been removed, and once more before you revise. You want all that damage adequately documented in your medical records. You may end up with future health issues that can be attributed to your lap band, and it's frustrating when your doctors can't find anything wrong with you while your writhing in pain in the E.R.

i just can't believe the band does so much damage..i'm so sad and still overweight.. i feel like a failure

You're NOT A FAILURE, the band is a dangerous piece of **** that should have been recalled many years ago.
