Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us. I began to watch you last week. I am so inspired by you and your honesty. I feel by watching you that your one of my long time friends,  for some reason : ) I think it because of your warm fun personality.

I too had RNY back in 2001 and have gained most of my weight back. I am seeking a revision to another RNY or DS.

I wish you the best of luck and will keep watching as long as you keep helping : )

May GOD continue to blessed you : )

Hi, I  am  seeking  a  revision as  well I  had  RNY  in  aug. 2009 after 7 -8 months  I  stopped losing  completely . I  am  now  seeing another Dr. but  he  only  offered me  the  sleeve or BOB ? He  said  my  pouch  has  not stretched  a lot and I  still feel  some  restriction and  still can only  eat a little  bit  at a  time of  some things. He  said  considering my  size ,body  structure  my  previous  Dr should  have  made my  pouch oblong and  smaller. HMMMMM??? They  are the professionals I  thought  he  knew what size and shape was best..BUT anyway  the  revision from gastric  bypass to  gastric bypass how  did  your  Dr. decide  that?

Hi Steph,

How exactly did they revise the RNY?

I am 13 years out from open RNY and was just diagnosed with a gatragastric fistula.  I did not regain all of the weight I lost but the surgeon said the 45 pounds I regained was due to the fistula.  I am supposed to have the fistula fixed July 31.  I am not gonna lie, I am nervous since I had complications from the original surgery.  Grrrr.

Just wondering what you had done to revise the rny.

Thanks,
Tena
