gastric sleeve to ds

Hi,

 Has anyone who had diabetes not resolved go for the ds surgery. And has the diabetes resolved... I am one year out on the gastric sleeve. still have diabetes and am considering having the ds done.. thanks..

There is a very high rate of remission of type 2 diabetes with the DS, something like 97%.  I've heard that some of it has to do with how long you have had diabetes.  You may want to ask this on the DS forum.
