HI,

I've been advised to research my options regarding a revision from a RNY.   Could anyone recommend a surgeon in Central PA??

Thanks!

Whomever you chose, please make sure they have PLENTY of experience.  I'd suggest contacting doctors who've done 100s of revisions. As someone who is from Philadelphia and who now lives in NYC, I'd explore Philly and NYC as they have major bariatric practices, like UofPenn, Lenox Hill, NYU, Columbia, etc.

You're right.   I was just hoping to find someone closer to home, but you're right.

What are you looking at revising to?

Just a bit of information about going from RNY to DS....... There are so very few skilled surgeons in the U.S. Like 6.  This is a very highly complicated surgery.
Here is a list for you to resear*****ase you are interested:

Dr. Keshishian, located in California

Dr. Rabkin, located in California

Dr. Elariny, located in Virginia

Dr. Roslin, located in New York

Dr. Buchwald, located in Minnesota

Of course, the above doctors are in the United States

Dr. Gagner, located in Canada

Dr. Baltasar, located in Spain

Dr. Marchesini, located  in Brazil

Good Luck in whatever you decide!!!!!!!

Went to Dr. Rogers at Hershey.

I did have complications after my revision surgery. She is a great doctor. However, while staying at Hershey, the nurses and doctors never seemed to know what the other was doing. They were always asking me what the other peeps were doing. RAWR.
