sister with band wants revision to vsg -- inurance/medicaid

Hi!

I'm sneaking over from the VSG forum with a question.  My sister has had the band for over a year.  She did lose some weight but has now gained it all back and is above 300 and very unhappy.  when i talked to the FNP at my WLS center he suggested that her doc at her center would need to say that the device failed in order to get a revision to vsg or anything else.

does anyone have experience with this??  i'd appreciate any feedback, since i'd like to help her!
