I'm hoping to revise from the band to sleeve in Febuary also.    My appointment with the surgeon is Feb 2nd.   I'm a self pay, so I'm taking the first date he has available!
Good luck to you!

Congratulations!  Having my band out after almost 3 years of throwing up was the best thing that ever happened to me.  I'm almost a year out from my sleeve revision and I couldn't be happier.  I'm wearing a size 2/4, almost 30 pounds below goal and I swear I NEVER thought I could be this thin!

My restriction is the same now as it was at about 5 months out, which is when I hit my original goal, although junk food goes down easily...stay away from it as long as you can!

Good luck, you will do great!

Michelle that is so awesome. I am happy for you and I cannot wait to be in your shoes. My Dr told me a good goal would be 175 but I seriously think I can beat that. I'm 5'8 and I think I'm going to surprise myself. At the least I want to be in the "normal" BMI category.

Thanks for sharing your story. I'm getting excited!

The head hunger on the preop diet is making me crazy!!!! How are you doing?

I am doing ok, kind of "over" the head hunger I guess, I don't know if that makes sense. I have just accepted the fact that I won't be eating any food for several weeks and it's ok.  I have lost 12 lbs and then gained 1.5 and I'm annoyed at that because I am eating NOTHING bu****er, broth and protein shakes. WTF?  I know, my body is probably just playing catch up but still it's kind of maddening to gain weight on a starvation diet. LOL

That is frustrating!  I know I'm NOT hungry, but I want something to eat.  I think after surgery, I will be better. It's not too bad right now. I've been trying to keep myself busy.

Yeah. I actually AM physically hungry. I just had my pre op education class and learned I will be on clear liquids for 4 weeks after surgery and not even protein until day 8 post op. Never thought I would miss my protein shakes but I think I'm going to. Holy **** At least I hopefully won't be hungry. LOL
