Officially UnBanded & Officially SLEEVED!!!! No complications, no scar tissue, he even gave me my band as a gift lol. My fianceè took very good care of me. The staff, doctors & hotel personnel are the very best. They really give you your moneys worth & are very attentive to your needs & accomodations. They had us staying at a casino, that was probably the best part other then getting out of surgery ok. Dr. Garcia gets an A+ from me. We leave Mexico today headed back home.
Now just have to figure out when I'm hungry, when I'm full, should I drink, when to stop, when do I have to potty, how much is too much, am I sipping to much, what is & where is the pain coming from, etc. So much to learn.

how AWESOME!!

just sip / walk - repeat for the first few days & be on top of your pains meds.
in a few days, you'll feel much better & you can then focus on getting some protein (shakes) in.

congrats !

Everyone grows scar tissue - it is how we heal.  It is when we grow an over abundance of it that it becomes trouble.   The Lap Band is actually dissected from our stomachs because of the scar tissue - it is a tedious job that requires lots of time and patience especially when we are revising to another surgery (we want good tissue so we don't get leaks).  And we better all hope we get scar tissue - it is what holds our sleeves together or seals our nice small stomachs once healed - not really the staples.

The great news is that we bands to sleeves-ds seem to be making it to the otherside and loving our revisions.

Good luck hun!
