Hi all...I'm considering a revision....I had RNY six and a half yrs ago....I lost 150, and now gained 75 back...I want a revision but am terrified I'll have it and have gain weight again....

Just from reading on here is appears the best surgery  to lose the weight and be able to keep it off depending on your weight is the DS.  Please research all you options before you make a final decision.  I wish i had known about the DS in 2000 when I had RNY.  It was good at first, I lost 137lbs, never made it under 200lbs or goal of 140ish.  Good luck on your research.

I believe there are only a few doctors that are experienced in the RNY/DS revision. Try posting on the DS board for more info they are very helpful!

Thank You...I was thinking just a revision of the RNY...not necessarily a DS...
