Not new but just rejoined

Hello all,

I am not new but just decided to close old account and start a new one.

I am MsMook1979 and am in the process of having Lapband to Sleeve Revision surgery in Mexico possibly in January.
Hope I can learn from a lot of you as I have on Facebook, Youtube and other .com sites.
Please feel free to share your experiences with me if you have had revision surgery from lapband. Thx.

I was on you tube watching the post from people who had the Vertical Sleeve and the one lady had her surgery in Mexico. She said she had a good experience. My revision was very hard on me. I haven't read anyone who has had it a bad as me. I must be the 1 of out ??? for a harder recovery.You can read my blog posted my story. Good luck and keep us posted on your experience & recovery.

My cousing went from band to sleeve in Mexico this summer & did great.

Hi MsMook and welcome.  I noticed you list your doctor as Dr. Almanza and I just want to caution you to please be sure and do thorough research. I have read an awful lot of things about him that would make me steer clear. I have heard other Mexican doctors down there who are awesome.. please be careful. :)

I don't have first hand experience but there is a lot of info available on this site and verticalsleevetalk.com.
