I spoke with Dr Roslin today and after reviewing my CT Scan it looks like my duodenum is enlarged and my gastric remnant is very large. Had my RNY in 2002. Any suggestions? Currently looking to have revised to BPD/DS

Hi, I had Rny in 2002, having my revision done 11-14-11, but they are doing the Rny again just making my pouch smaller.

They didn't even suggest the DS or BPD.

I think a revision to a DS (formerly called a BPD/DS) is indeed your best bet. In the DS, most of your duodenum will be bypassed, as will a large part of your upper small intestine. You will no longer HAVE a gastric remnant to bother you. (Mine's been in the garbage for nearly 8 years now. *grin*)
