Any Minnesotans on BCBS/MN?

Am I understanding right that they WILL NOT cover a revision?  If I am undderstand right, they no longer even cover Bariatric Surgery, so I guess I was lucky.  (?)  Perhaps when I move to Iowa next year I can try some other route.

i just got bcbs/nj effective now 1st... and i was told that they will do revisions if u have had issues with ur prev. surg... such as 50% weight gain, acid reflux (band) or slippage....i have gained back 3lb shy of the 50% mark, have nasty acid  and developed a hiatal hernia from my band....so i guess diff states policies are different ??????  i will keep my eye on this post...lol, maybe i should start to worry too ??????

I have BCBS/ND and they cover bariatric surgery if you meet criteria, but they will not cover a revision under any situation.  When did BCBS/MN stop covering  bariatric surrgery?

I have BCBSMN.   just had reports faxed to them to be approved for revision. hope to hear soon.
