Metal Taste In Mouth

I am a few weeks out from my revision surgery and I have been experiencing this awful metal taste in my mouth. I am just curious as to if this is something everyone experiences. I wake up with it in the mornings. I am assuming it is probably my staples causing this...anyone else have this problem?

Could also be thrush (yeast infection in the mouth). Is your tongue white? I can't imagine how the staples would cause it, they are outside the stomach. Have your doc check it out if it is thrush you'll need a Rx for it.

   I do believe it maybe thrush...I do have a bit of white on my tongue.  I just went to the bathroom also, and noticed my urine is real yellow, and has a strong odor. When you go into Ketosis...does this happen, is this normal, or am I not getting enough fluids? 
  I will calling my nurse tomorrow...as I live 5 hours from my doctor, but I can get lab work done here, and hopefully forward it to them.
 

Caryn, it sounds like your body is in ketosis. Burning fat! Google it.
