Dr Sudan 1st visit

 I had my first appt with Dr Sudan today......great staff. The NP was awesome. She had stated that my insurance might not approve due to their recommendations. I got home and call Aetna and I have been approved since 8/11. Apparently Dr Sudan's office has not received the letter from them. I asked if they could fax it over to the office and the lady in member services stated the the Dr office would have to request it. I then emailed the NP to let her know the situation and had not heard back as of yet. FRUSTRATED!

I'm in this process myself with Dr. sudan's office.  How did you get approved if they didn't submit you until now?  I'm nervous about them approving me due to my BMI being "low" (37).  Also, what are you revising from?  Any info would be soooo helpful! 

Did you do the whole psych, EGD, EKG, bloodwork, etc route?
