just got my approval vor my revision...i had a SRVBG 11 years ago and did very well for 4.5 years...it opened completely...i am revising to a lap bad, as the restrictive only procedure worked well for me...it will have to be open since it was open the firt time...set for oct 3..my husband had his a week ago (not a revision, first time for himn) and is doing very well (lap band)

I appriciate the well wishes and the consern....i am prepared for that possiablity, my doc has a very good recored and does all adjustmnet under florascope. I did consider other surgeries, but i am not comfortable with the mal absortion part, and i did very well with the SRVBG untill it opoened up. again thanks for your suport and concern!!!!
I can understand not being comfortable with malabsorption but have you looked at the sleeve? It seems that people are happier with the sleeve and there are no fills or unfills to worry about yet you still have restriction.
