I posted this in my blog as well as the DS board.

This is my journey, and what a LONG journey it is........

I contacted the lady at the secondary insurance again, to see what the outcome of my appeal was...... and here is her e-mail:

Hi Jamie, The Trustees have asked for another review from a different reviewing organization, so we won’t know the final answer until that review is completed.

Talk about FRUSTRATING!!!!! More waiting for me. ANOTHER review of the appeal??!! UUUGGGGHHHHHHH

As soon as I hear anything, I will keep all of you updated

Band to DS

Unfortunately, I had to delete this post due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!
